Recipe suggestions for cooking with the kids at the Feather Down farm.
Enjoy delicious pancakes made “on location”!
(Serves approx. 6 people)
100g or 4oz. plain flour
A pinch of salt
1 egg, lightly beaten
300ml or ½ pint of Milk
Oil for frying
Put the flour and salt in a bowl.
Add the egg and gradually add half the milk, beating well to make a smooth batter.
Beat in the remaining milk.
Heat a little oil in the frying pan, tilting the base so the mixture covers the pan, and cook until the underside is brown.
Turn and cook the other side.
Repeat with the remaining batter.
