Making the perfect scrambled eggs isn’t difficult. The key is whisking the eggs thoroughly and vigorously before cooking them.
Ingredients:(Serves 2 people.)
1/4 cup whole milk
1 tbsp clarified butter or whole butter
Salt and ground white pepper, to taste
Chopped fresh herbs
Diced and sautéed onion (sauté the onion separately and then add)
Chopped cooked bacon
Let’s start making some delicious scrambled eggs
Crack the eggs into a cup or bowl and beat them until they turn a pale yellow colour.
Heat pan over medium-low heat. Add the butter and let it melt.
Add the milk to the eggs and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Then pour into pan and stir, try not to let any egg set on the sides of the pan.
Continue stirring, if you’re adding any other ingredients, now’s the time to do it.
Transfer to a plate when the eggs are set but still moist and soft. Eggs are delicate, so they’ll continue to cook for a few moments after they’re on the plate.
Soak the pan and please wash up carefully, that would be much appreciated.
Overcooking is a common problem! The perfect scrambled eggs should be soft and just a little bit moist.
